The Library has a significant collection of Welsh Writing in English. This collection includes fiction, poetry, prose and other forms of creative writing as well as critical works and key journals and periodicals. Established to promote interest and study in the literary works of Wales written in English, it is an invaluable collection for researchers and postgraduates. It is housed at our Treforest campus library.
The University has an important collection of visual art from Wales. This includes a range of paintings and works on paper as well as photographs, ceramics and sculpture. It is showcased in regular exhibitions in the university’s museum-status art gallery, Oriel y Bont.
