Researchers' Coffee Morning - Professor Diana Wallace

This event offers an opportunity for informal conversations and networking with fellow researchers.

Each month we also invite an academic colleague to talk honestly about their research journey, and share their insights and experience of a particular topic.

Our guest for November is Diana Wallace, Professor of English, who will share her highs and lows of getting published.

Diana has published four monographs and over 30 book chapters and journal articles. After working as an editor on teenage magazines, Diana entered academia late and has been trying to catch up ever since. She is currently writing (or perhaps more accurately not writing) a monograph on modernism and historical fiction.

Colleagues from Graduate School, and Research and Innovation Services (Research Funding; Impact; Digital Marketing; Researcher Development) will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to stay on campus after the event, there are plenty of quiet study areas and PCs in the Postgraduate Centre, or it is a short walk to the Library.
